PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT Discussion is ongoing on improving the recreational activity with additional playground equipment for Grimes Field. This is expensive equipment so we will have to earn the funds to complete this project. |

HILLSBORO FOOD PANTRY. The Hillsboro Lions Club is gearing up to help renovate or rebuild the Hillsboro Food Pantry. We will be starting Pancake Breakfasts, looking for donations and providing manpower in this most worthwhile project. For more information contact our club president: Meg Curtis at 478-1947. |

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS Please check the Hillsboro-Deering High School website for application forms for the Hillsboro Lions Henry G. Martin Scholarship. Applications should have been filed by this time. |

WISHING WELL SHAW’S has graciously allowed us to place a Wishing Well in their store. The proceeds from the well go to help the New Hampshire Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation fund projects to help our citizens of New Hampshire. |

CAMPAIGN SIGHTFIRST II In three years the Hillsboro Lions have raised $20,120 towards their goal of $24,000 in the Lions Clubs International Campaign SightFirst II. The Lions are eradicating river blindness, providing cataract operations overseas and teaching medical personnel. |
